Introduction
The creative industries cover many creative practitioner roles and work environments. This resource, the Creative village, consists of a digital interface to use with your learners to explore a wide range of job opportunities and working practices for progression into the Creative and media industry and the creative community. Based specifically on experiential learning and using e-learning approaches, the resource focuses on the realities of working in the sector and highlights the range of specialist and transferable skills involved. It has been developed in very close collaboration with teachers from a variety of trial and pilot centres and a diverse range of learners.

The Creative village: Activities and guidance
Before using the Creative village, you will find it helpful to refer to the accompanying guidance. There are also two exemplar activities based on the Creative village, one for use in your CPD and one for use with learners.
Creative village
Open the Creative village resource. To use the resource, click on the picture in the centre of the screen, and then use your arrow keys to move around. To 'launch' information, click on a building or person. To leave the village, use your browser 'back' button to return to this page.
