Evaluate your skills: card activity

The pack includes a card sort activity for reviewers called Improve reviewing, which is based on the Improve your own learning learner activity. It includes statements about your own skills in preparing for, carrying out and following up progress review interviews.
They can be used as part of a CPD| event, but individual reviewers may also find it helpful to go through them on their own.
- Lay out the cards marked Never, Sometimes, Usually, Always.
- Consider each statement card in turn, and place them according to whether you never, sometimes, usually or always do them.
- Record the results on a separate sheet and use this to compare your progress if you use the cards again in the future.
